From Paper To Publication
ELIZABETH HERZOG WEFER
As a native New Yorker born in Troy, my Dad's hometown, I grew up in my Mother's hometown of Orwell, Vermont. My family and I have lived here in Phoenix, Arizona for 30 years and consider ourselves "westerners."
When I'm not editing or reading books or manuscripts, I love good music and good movies. As a painter, my house is filled with my landscapes and I have painted portraits of all my grandchildren.
Always a great lover of history and all areas of science, I am also an avid Arizona Diamondbacks baseball fan and spent many years listening to and attending operas! Yes, baseball in the summer and opera in the winter.
I have even written 3 1/2 cozy murder mysteries. Written at a time of the decline of that genre, they hide under a bed somewhere. So, I can understand and sympathize with my author-clients in their quest and frustration for publication.
